PM Modi reprimanded Pakistan in his address to the nation on Monday evening. He clearly said that our operation has only been postponed. We have just postponed our retaliatory action on the terrorist and military bases of Pakistan, in the coming days we will judge every step of Pakistan on the basis of what attitude it adopts.
‘Terror-talk, terror-trade cannot go together’
In his address, PM Modi said that this is certainly not the era of war, but it is not the era of terrorism either. Zero tolerance against terrorism is the guarantee of a better world. The way the Pakistani army and the Pakistani government are nurturing terrorism will one day destroy Pakistan itself. If Pakistan wants to survive, it will have to eliminate its terror infrastructure. India’s opinion is very clear… terror and talk cannot go together. Terror and trade cannot go together. And… water and blood cannot flow together either.’
Pakistan attacked our religious places, schools
PM Modi said that India’s decisive attack on terrorist hideouts shocked Pakistan, leaving its leadership in a state of shock. Instead of supporting India’s efforts against terrorism, Pakistan retaliated by attacking our religious places, schools, civilian homes and military establishments.
However, this hostility only served to expose Pakistan’s weaknesses. The world saw how Pakistan’s missiles and drones were easily neutralised by India’s advanced and robust defence systems, and their aggression collapsed mid-air like a pack of cards. While Pakistan aimed to target India’s borders, India responded strategically, striking their key infrastructure with precision.
Will keep an eye on Pakistan’s actions PM Modi said that Pakistan was forced to give assurances that there would be no terrorist activity or military action from their side. After careful deliberation, we decided to temporarily suspend our operations against Pakistan’s terrorist centers and military establishments. However, we are vigilant and will keep a close watch on their actions in the future.
